Blocklayer — Windsor County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Windsor County, Vermont. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
