Bread and bun maker — Rooks County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Rooks County, Kansas. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
