Immediate opening: aluminium tig welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in King County, Texas. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
