Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Ede South, Osun State. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Rotating shifts.
