You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear.
