Rigging foreman — Renville County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Renville County, Minnesota. You will work on a high-rise building site. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Six days a week, one day off.
