Immediate opening: D6/D8 dozer operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Dimmit County, Texas. The job is on a road construction project. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) The role involves: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Refuel the machine and record running hours Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
