Formwork carpenter wanted in Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Jackson County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
