Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel beater in Columbus County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop The role involves: • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
