Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
