Groundsman — Benton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Benton County, Iowa. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
