Slinger signaller • Doguwa, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Doguwa, Kano State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer ₦1,750 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
