Gang bricklayer — Comal County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Comal County, Texas. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
