Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Pike County, Alabama. The job is on the press shop floor. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
