Plant operator (dozer) — Pocahontas County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Pocahontas County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
