Dogger — Lafayette Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a shipyard. You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 5+ years on the tools preferred.
