Tower crane operator wanted in Gladwin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Gladwin County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
