We are recruiting: bricklayer (Oklahoma)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage You will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
