Immediate opening: press machine operator (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
