Turning centre operator • Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret.
