Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Clay County, Georgia. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
