Precision welder — Maradun

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Maradun, Zamfara State. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
