Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing The role involves: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
