Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Jefferson County, Texas. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. Requirements: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
