CNC programmer-operator — Sharkey County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Sharkey County, Mississippi. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
