Bread and bun maker • Ulster County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Ulster County, New York. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On the job you will handle: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
