Die-casting operator wanted in Sumner County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will be based on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
