Immediate opening: blocklayer (Benue State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Katsina-Ala, Benue State. You will be based on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
