Safety marshal — Herkimer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in Herkimer County, New York. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience.
