Marble mason — Ilesha West

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble mason in Ilesha West, Osun State. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels Ideal candidate: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades Rotating shifts.
