Safety marshal — Bladen County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Bladen County, North Carolina. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
