MIG/MAG welder — Peach County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Peach County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Six days a week, one day off.
