Thermal insulation technician wanted in Mathews County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Mathews County, Virginia. The job is on a construction site. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane On the job you will handle: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
