Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Wilkes County, North Carolina. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
