Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Orange County, California. You will work on a high-rise building site. The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
