Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Washington County, Alabama. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. Day to day you will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; set up and start the machine as per the job card. Requirements: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
