Immediate opening: tyre technician (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre technician in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Day to day you will demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £2,100 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
