Fire and safety officer — Bende

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Bende, Abia State. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦4,000 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
