Lathe programmer-operator wanted in St. Mary Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
