Day to day you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
