Power press operator — Deaf Smith County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Deaf Smith County, Texas. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
