Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Adair County, Kentucky. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
