Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Patrick County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
