Glass fitter — Yabo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass fitter in Yabo, Sokoto State. The job is in a mirror and glass showroom. Your main tasks: • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Six days a week, one day off.
