Head butcher wanted in Doncaster

Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Doncaster, England. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate On the job you will handle: • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
