Oven operator — Lynn County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Lynn County, Texas. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
