Rebar installer — Nemaha County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Nemaha County, Kansas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On a typical shift you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
