Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
