Falsework carpenter — Chemung County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Chemung County, New York. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
