Immediate opening: stitching operator (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Macon County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
